Christophe Couteau
Research Assistant Professor
Institute for Quantum Computing
Biography Christophe completed his PhD in Grenoble (France) in experimental quantum optics under Prof Jean-Philippe Poizat. Before that, he spent 2 years at the Center for Quantum Computation in Oxford under Prof Dik Bouwmeester working on polarization entangled photon pairs. His Doctorate work consisted on studying self-assembled quantum dots as source of indistinguishable single photons. He is now a post-doc with Prof Gregor Weihs working on quantum dots for quantum computing purposes. A search for entangled photon pairs with this system being the main goal. |
