Biography

Iman graduated from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran in 2004, with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. His B.Sc. project was "Proposal of a two-stage quantum cryptographic protocol and investigating its security". He received his master's degree in Physics in 2006 from Sharif University of technology, Iran. His master's thesis was about transmission of entangled pairs through noisy quantum channels. He started his PhD at IQC in Sept. 2006. Currently he is working under supervision of Prof. Michele Mosca and Prof. Robert Spekkens.
