We are IQC members (Staff, Faculty, PostDocs, Students and Research Assistances) and their families. Many of us have an international background, coming from countries all over the world... and having lived in countries spanning the globe.
We have been through comparable experiences and that's what probably makes us so similiar: weathering culture shock, establishing new friends, adjusting to a new and completely different way of life (including even little things like banking) and building a home for our families away from where we originally came.

What we do...
We organize activities and trips around our community some of which that show Canadian culture.
Our main goal is to give every single one of us a starting point for either just gathering information, or taking part in a few fun activities or even finding wonderful friends.
