Contact InfoBiographyBrendan hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he completed his
honours B.Sc. in physics and his diploma in electrical and computer
engineering at Dalhousie University. His research experiences before
coming to the IQC include work in the fields of condensed matter,
molecular biophysics and biomedical imaging. His work in physics has
been primarily theoretical, although he has had experience with
experimental research as well.
His other areas of interest (and some minor publications) outside of
the physical sciences include ethical philosophy, political science
and amateur journalism.
Brendan recently began his masters candidacy under the supervision of
Dr. Frank Wilhelm analysing superconducting electrical circuits and
their potential for microwave photon absorption.
